This year has been challenging to businesses and people up and down the country, putting evermore pressure on non-profits, charities and community services to continue the fantastic support they provide. One group which has seen increased demand and reliance on their services is local food banks, who will be under considerable pressure through this Christmas period. National and local lockdowns have seen increased demand and pressures placed on local food banks and will only add to the pressures that Christmas brings. As a company, we wanted to help.
Within the last week Flintshire Food Bank and Norwich Food Bank have received sizeable donations from PBS Utility Services to help those who need it most. These donations were made on behalf of our staff and clients to help make a real difference in the local community in which we are based, operate and many PBS staff reside.
These donations were made instead of our annual staff meal and corporate gifts. We would like to thank all of our staff for their hard work and dedication, and our clients for their continued support, in what has been a very different and difficult 2020. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2021.
